The Take It & Run project is very simple: In March 2010 I started inviting creative people who like my sketches (www.penpaperpause.com) to take one and run with it. Using their own individual style and whatever medium they want, they would create an entirely different visual execution, a re-imagination of the original. It’s cover versions for art.
After recieving almost 40 quite breathtaking contributions, we had a wildly successfull showcase event in January 2011. All the work is online for your pleasure.
