I first met Will Spring at an exhibition in Brixton that we were both part of. I have always found his work very nice indeed and so was understandably delighted when he decided to Take It & Run.
What he took:

Where he ran:
I absolutely love it. It has a gravity way beyond the original – for me the tension between the vivid colour and the expression really takes the idea and runs with it.

Great idea as ever.
So fascinating to see people take your words, connect with the concept themselves and produce their own response.
I think it shows that you create pieces that people can relate to. That many people share common concerns and questions. But that the way we imagine/image them differs.
Can’t wait to follow this series. Great introduction to other creative people and their styles too.
Take It and Run such a neat concent. I used to teach William Spring way back when snakes could walk at Stratford-upon-Avon HS. And he was our first ever apprentice at Dianthus Ceramics! Good job! Keep running. Dinah
